Clixad is a coding agent for the terminal. Its users earn the credits they code with by answering surveys, and a sponsored survey is one you write. You pay only for the responses we count, you see how many people chose each answer, and whatever the survey does not spend goes back to your card.

Who answers
Developers who use Clixad, answering on the page where they earn credits. On 1 October 2026, 430 accounts had made a model call in the previous 7 days and 592 in the previous 30; 505 accounts had opened the earn page in the previous 7 days. Between 29 September and 1 October our own short surveys received 109 to 145 answers a day. Use was much lower before 29 September, so read these as the current level, not a promise.
A survey is shown only to accounts signed in with a GitHub account that is at least 30 days old and that have made at least 3 model calls. Each account answers a survey once, and nobody is credited for more than 3 sponsored surveys a day. There is no targeting.
How it works
- Sign in with GitHub and enter your company details. Advertising is for businesses only.
- Write the survey: up to 20 single or multiple choice questions, a title, the name shown as “Sponsored by”, and optionally a link people see after their response is counted.
- Submit it. We read every survey before it runs, usually within two working days.
- Once it is approved, pay the whole budget by card. The survey goes live when the payment arrives.
- Watch the counts come in, end it early if you like, and download them as CSV. When it ends, what it did not spend is refunded to your card with a credit note.

A survey runs for 7 to 90 days from payment, or until it has the responses you asked for. Prices are in US dollars, paid in advance by card through Stripe, which issues the invoice.
What counts as a response
A response is counted, and charged, when the person answering has answered every question, has answered a check question we add correctly, and has not been faster than the minimum time. Anything else costs you nothing. The check question is ours and is left out of your results.
What you get back
For each question, how many counted responses chose each answer, from the tenth counted response on. Never an individual response, a time, or anything that identifies a person. If you add a link, you also see how many people followed it.
What we do not run
Crypto, gambling, downloads from sources that are not clearly identified, products that are themselves an AI coding agent or assistant, and any question that asks for personal data. Every sponsored survey is marked “Sponsored by” with the name you give. The full rules are in the advertising terms, and what we do with the answers is in the privacy policy.
