clixadAn AI coding agent with no monthly subscription
Clixad has nothing that renews. Five models are free up to a daily allowance, and past it you spend credits that do not expire, earned in a browser tab or bought in one-time packs. A month you do not code costs nothing.

Node 20 or newer. Then clixad login signs you in with GitHub, and clixad in a project opens the agent.
How usage is paid for
Free models. GPT-5 Nano, Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite, DeepSeek V4 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and Kimi K2.5 cost nothing up to 24,000 credits of usage per account per day. The allowance sits inside a daily budget shared by everybody, so on a busy day it can end sooner. It adds nothing to your balance and takes nothing from it.
Earned credits. Complete an advertiser's offer in a browser tab and the payout lands as credits, on completion. A screenout, where a survey ends part way with nothing or a small bonus, is the most common outcome of starting a survey. A free account can earn up to 500,000 credits a day.
Advertising. While a model call runs, the terminal can show a line marked Ad, and up
to two more places marked the same way. It earns a fraction of what an offer pays, often nothing. Nothing you type
takes part in choosing them, and CLIXAD_SPONSOR=0 stops every request for them.
Bought credits. Optional, and never required. Each pack is one payment through Stripe Checkout.

A quiet month costs nothing
Credits do not expire. Section 6 of the terms says we do not reduce a balance for inactivity and run nothing that removes credits over time. A week without code costs nothing, and a balance bought in March is still there in June.
A subscription works the other way round: it bills the quiet month at the price of the busy one. The entry paid plans of four well-known coding tools, as their own pricing pages listed them on 29 September 2026:

When a subscription is the better deal
If you code every working day, usually. A flat price stops growing however much you use, and per-token spending does not. Credits bought from us pay for tokens at provider cost with a 1.5 markup on top, which the funding post sets out. Anthropic's own documentation reports that "the average cost is around $13 per developer per active day" for enterprise developers paying Claude Code by the token. A day like that fits a subscription better than any per-token balance, ours included.
Paying per use fits the other pattern. Evenings and weekends, a burst before a deadline and then three quiet weeks, most of the work on cheap models and a frontier model when a problem needs one.
FAQ
Is there an AI coding agent without a monthly subscription?
Clixad has no subscription. Five models are free up to 24,000 credits of usage a day, and past that you spend credits you earn in a browser tab or buy in one-time packs, from $5 for 500,000 credits. Nothing renews.
Do Clixad credits expire?
No. Credits you earn or buy stay in your balance, and nothing removes them over time. Only spending them, a reversal of an offer by the advertising network, or the end of the contract takes credits away.
How much do Clixad credits cost?
Buying is optional. Starter is $5 for 500,000 credits, Plus is $15 for 1,650,000 and Pro is $50 for 6,000,000. A turn of 20,000 input and 1,500 output tokens costs 8,250 credits on Claude Sonnet 5.5 and 484 on DeepSeek V4 Flash.
Is a subscription cheaper than paying per token?
For someone who codes every working day, usually. A flat price stops growing with use, and credits bought from us carry a 1.5 markup over provider cost. Paying per token wins when your use comes in bursts.
